Always bring a set of ear buds....

"Can you hear me now?"

A FastTrack Traveler Suggestion for Traveling with a CPAP

Suggestion #1: A Hose Hanger
As a very frequent international and domestic traveler I've become an expert at traveling with my CPAP, simply out of necessity. It has been nine years traveling all over the world with my machine.

I'm starting this series because I just discovered a simple solution to being smacked in the face by my CPAP hose while sleeping on planes and in hotels. At home I have a "hose hanger" that attaches behind the headboard that keeps the hose elevated off of the bed and keeps it from pulling on my mask when I move around during sleep.

When traveling I've started to use a 3M Command Mini Hook and a wire luggage tag fastener to do the trick. The Command Mini Hook attaches quickly and doesn't fall off in the middle of the night and removes easily without damaging the wall or headboard. The stainless steel wire loop surprisingly doesn't make any noise as the ribbed hose moves across its surface.

Very cheap and they don't damage the headboard, wall or airplane interior when removed.

The other component is a stainless steel wire luggage tag loop . I take off one of my luggage tags and use it and I always have it with me.
